Wire Sheet Crossover Ring With Copper Centre
This ring is predominantly made from a section of my signature wire sheet, using all silver wires. The main part is formed as if would continue into a spiral, then a thicker copper wire is soldered into the centre point where the two ends meet, one half joined to the top end, the other half to the bottom.
The formation of the wires also makes the edge of the band interesting as it allows you to see the cross section of the wire sheet which, because the wires are cut at an angle, appears as a series of tiny ovals, almost like a scalloped edge.
The width of the band is 6mm, meaning that when it crosses over itself, the total width is just over 12mm.
As with all of my jewellery, it will come beautifully presented in a gift box which includes a small polishing cloth and an anti-tarnish square, making it the perfect gift for a loved one, or a well-deserved treat to yourself.
