Wire Sheet Semi-Circle With Thick Silver Edge Necklace
Created in my signature copper and silver wire sheet, this necklace really makes a statement. The semi-circle wire sheet is cradled around the curved edge by a thick silver square wire reiterating the contrasting and somewhat incongruous nature of the piece.
It is made up of straight lines but each is also rounded, fine wires are used to make a thick disorderly sheet, precious silver sits next and equal to industrious copper, delicate chain supports a large solid mass, and of the two, the latter is considered the ornamental aspect. So many complexities for what, on the surface, appears to be a very simple design - another contrast in itself.
As with all of my jewellery, it will come beautifully presented in a gift box which includes a small polishing cloth and an anti-tarnish square, making it the perfect gift for a loved one, or a well-deserved treat to yourself.
