Fossilised Coral on Silver Rounded Triangle Stud Earrings
The focal point of these elegant sterling silver earrings began as coral, living over 20 million years ago. Over time, the skeletal form has been replaced with agate, allowing these beautiful stones to be created with their intricate flower-like patterns. Dye has been used to give them a striking red appearance, and further enhance the prehistoric shapes within.
Please do not mistake these as having been created from any recently living coral.
The height of the triangle is approximately 40mm and width 24mm, with the stones measuring roughly 15mm x 12mm x 5mm.
Triangles, earring posts and butterfly backs are created in solid sterling silver.
As with all of my jewellery, they will come beautifully presented in a gift box which includes a small polishing cloth and an anti-tarnish square, making it the perfect gift for a loved one, or a well-deserved treat to yourself.
