Reticulated Ring With Tiger's Eye
Reticulation is the technique of heating metal, in this case silver, to the point where it just begins to melt slightly. It produces varying degrees of this slightly rough texture, and can make edges curl up or try to retract into themselves. There is a degree of unpredictability in reticulation, meaning each ring band will have it’s own character and be slightly different from the last, but will be just as beautiful.
The golden-toned gemstone featured on this ring is an oval ‘tiger’s eye’ cabochon, and measures 12mm x 8mm.
The ring band is 10mm wide. Please keep this in mind when choosing which ring size to order - the wider the band, the more room it will need to fit over the knuckle.
Ring band and stone setting are made entirely of solid sterling silver.
As with all of my jewellery, it will come beautifully presented in a gift box which includes a small polishing cloth and an anti-tarnish square, making it the perfect gift for a loved one, or a well-deserved treat to yourself.
